Time To Unwind
The door slowly opened as Scott entered his apartment sluggishly. It had been a long day. Closing the door he realized that even though the work day was over he still had quite a bit of things to do before he could finally relax and unwind. He quickly took his shoes off as he lowered his shoulder bag down next to the door then proceeded down the hall into his kitchen. He flipped the light on and emptied his pockets of his phone, wallet and keys onto the small countertop. He leaned on the counter to compose himself for a moment. "One more day, just gotta get through Friday and another pointless meeting then the weekend" he said to himself in a somewhat cheerful but sarcastic manner.
